Haley Toner, M. Ed. BCBA-LBA
Curriculum Coordinator
Haley has been working in the field of ABA since 2017, first as an RBT/Lead instructor, in Los Angeles, and then as an autism supervisor in the ECA state-funded program from the AZ DDD. Haley now works as a BCBA/LBA in curriculum development, focusing on implementing ABA principles into classrooms and curriculum for school readiness. Haley holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University and a Master’s of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University.
After being a preschool teacher to children with developmental disabilities, Haley thrived on researching how she could individualize curriculum for those students with varying learning abilities. After discovering ABA through a research article, Haley was hooked.
Haley describes the most rewarding part of her day to be walking into a classroom and having the students tell and show her what they have learned with the curriculum we are developing. There’s nothing better than having a student demonstrate a new skill they have learned. SCI thrives on developing and implementing an ABA-focused curriculum to assist in school readiness with children on the spectrum, an area of the field that is just being discovered.
Outside of work Haley enjoys traveling with her Pekingese puppy Riviera “Rivi”. She has visited St. Tropez, France every summer for the past 11 years.
“SPBS/SCI is a cohesive unit that focuses on clinic and school readiness while combining ABA principles with the curriculum. I have not found a company like this until I came to SPBS/SCI. And, I am so lucky to be a part of it.”
